This Payroll Officer job has been created due to a maternity leave cover. You will be working on site in the Richmond Hill location. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will help manage a payroll of over 600 employees for a department of 2 payrollers. You will dealing with their queries, biweekly reconciliations, processing unionized payroll and accurate tax and other deductions in line with government requirements.
As a seasoned payroller with experience processing high volume payroll or in a standalone position, you will enjoy working on site. You have multiprovincial payroll experience and quite experience using Ceridian Dayforce. US payroll experience a an asset. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency will help you succeed in this role.
