They are seeking a Head of Payroll to join their team, based either out of their Oxford or Farnham office, with the ad-hoc travel to their other offices. As Head of Payroll, you will report into the Outsourcing Service Line Lead and will be responsible for managing the operations of the payroll team of 20 + as well as fostering the continuous streamlining and automation of processes. Responsibilities include: * Coach, mentor and provide professional development to the team * Set the strategy for and manage the multi-cycle payrolls in a timely manor * Recommend and implement changes * Ownership of the Profit & Loss account * Ensure well-controlled work processes * Build & maintain excellent working relationships across all departments Experience required: * CIPP Payroll qualification * Extensive experience of managing large payroll teams * Excellent technical payroll knowledge * Experience within clients payroll is highly desirable * Payroll project and continuous improvement experience This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced and high performing payroll team at a really exciting time. Our client is looking for a new team member to join them on a permanent basisAbout the roleResponsibilities and Key Activities: * Process payroll reports for assigned portfolio and ensure reports are distributed on a timely and efficient manner to internal or external clients * Process net salary and PAYE/NIC BACS payments, prepare electronic BACS pack for Partner's signatures and ensure payments are made on a timely manner * Update and maintain client workflow status through payroll software * Deal with HMRC PAYE queries * Deal with payroll queries raised by both internal and external clients * Liaise with Line Manager in assisting setting up of PAYE schemes for clients * Set up of new PAYE scheme payroll database and update control sheets * Ensure filing of emails and payroll instructions are up to date * Send PAYE cheques to HMRC for and on behalf of clients * Assist Payroll Manager in improving policies and procedures, to improve efficiency in the day to day running of the department * Take telephone messages * Assist the Payroll Managers with ad hoc tasks as required Skills and Experience required: * Minimum of 2 years proven experience within similar role, preferably within practice Fantastic holiday, pension and benefits 47310FOINDPAYS

My client has identified the need for a Payroll Administrator to join the payroll team on a permanent basis. We therefore seek an experienced and responsible individual, with enthusiasm and ability to take on new challenges and help support the payroll function. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the weekly PAYE payment runs * Process weekly and monthly staff payrolls * To input, import, process and check data from various sources * Process new starters, leavers, changes, holidays * Help manage the workplace pension scheme and third-party deductions. * Process advances and expense payments * Manage the payroll inbox, answer phone queries. * Prepare, review and submit payroll driven statutory payments (including but not limited to: Pension, HMRC, PAYE & CIS) * Post monthly HMRC breakdown journals. * Reconciliation of payroll balance sheets * Partner with operation and sales management to ensure robust information flows. * Project work when required * Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams We are looking for someone who is: * Minimum of 1-2 years payroll experience * Proactive and enthusiastic * A team player * Self-motivated and driven * Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines 47184FOINDPAYS
