PAYROLL TESTING LEAD - HYBRID WORKING - BASED IN AURORA - 12 MONTH CONTRACT - $80,000-$95,000A large, highly regarded, international client based in Aurora, Ontario are looking to recruit a Payroll Testing Lead to be a key member of their payroll implementation team on a contract basis for an initial period of 12 months. The company employ over 20,000 people across Canada and over 100,000 worldwide and are at the cutting edge of their industry. Highly flexible, they are offering a Hybrid working arrangement. You will be required in the office 3 days a week with 2 days working from home. The Payroll Testing Lead role has arisen to work with the project team as they implement the new payroll software Ceridian Dayforce. As the company enter the testing phase of the implementation of Ceridian Dayforce they are looking for and experience senior payroll project professional to lead the testing team. You will oversee and manage the testing process on Ceridian Dayforce working with the team to complete and document Parallel runs, UAT testing and writing test scripts. You will work to identify issues and discrepancies via a rigorous testing process ensuring the system is in best possible condition prior to the go live date. Followed by post implementation testing and validation to ensure success. In order to be considered for the role you should come from a payroll background where you have experience working on a large implementation project including hands on payroll system testing experience. An excellent eye for detail and the ability to spot discrepancies, errors and inconsistencies in large volume payroll data. Previous experience leading a team would be advantageous but is not essential. Any past experience processing payrolls or testing on Ceridian Dayforce would be highly desirable. This role will suit a project experienced senior payroll professional who is used to testing payroll systems and is looking to test themselves on a large scale, high profile implementation project. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will work alongisde the payroll team to accurately process all payroll and benefits information in conjunction with the team. You will deal with all manager payroll queries including ontario payroll legislation. There is plenty of scope for you to identfy opportunities for improvement and mould the role. As a seasoned payroller, ideally you have graduated with a University degree, you have over 5+ years of experience gained within a unionized environment; you will enjoy working 2 days a week in a modern office building in a progressive business with an attractive benefits package.
